Hickey Vale Farm offers two fully self contained farm accommodation units set on a hobby farm of 70 acres.
Fully air-conditioned / heated with split systems, smart TV’s, coffee machine, washing machine, dryer and decking undercover area for alfresco dining to enjoy the country air and listen to the birds sing.
Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend away to unwind and soak in the spa or looking for an overnight stay, we can accommodate you. Travelling couples, singles, working in the area and families are all accommodated, sleeping 6 in our Farm Lodge and 2 in our Farm Studio. With road side trails its the perfect getaway with your horse, mountainbike or dirt bike with the mix or trail and dirt road taking you to the base of the Tallarook Ranges. A short stroll around the property will see you to some friendly furry faces of horses, cats, sheep and cows.
We also offer a 30 x 70 fully fenced sand horse jumping arena to ride on or to hire out on its own and stables to hire for your horses comfort.
You'll also find the State Motorcycle track just a 2 minute drive extremely convenient for your next motorsport event.​

Our Services
Horse Accommodation
New to Hickey Vale Farm Lodge is having your Equine friend stay with you in your choice of SureCushion Rubber floor Stable, A Cattle Yard or Large Yard right in veiw of the lodge so you can enjoy some local trails along side Elliotts Road or a short 15-20 minute drive will get you to the famous Rail Trail!
Dirt Bike Riders
Our farm is on the Base of the Tallarook ranges. Stay with us and set off for your dirt bike day adventure. *Please note there is not riding on the farm.
Show Jump Arena Hire
You can now Privately Hire our
30 x 70 fully fenced sand arena. Wether you are needing to train for your up coming come or need a safe area to ride in the arena is now ready to hire. Please text 0429841201 to book

Numerous popular walking tracks and lookouts surround Hickley Vale Farm Lodge including Tallarook Ranges, Strath Creek Falls, Mount Piper Nature Conservation Reserve & Murchison Gap Lookout.

Broadford Golf Course
The 18 Hole Golf Course welcomes visitors. Visitors with a handicap may enter competitions and social golfers are welcome at all other times.
Motorbikes
Located just a 2 minute drive to Broadford State Motorcycle Complex and a 10 minute ride to the base of Tallarook Ranges for those who like to dirt bike.
Wallan Old Time Market
Wallan old time market runs every second
Saturday of every month with around 150 stalls its sure to impress the market goers! just 20 minutes down the highway towards Melbourne.
Animals to see on the property
If horses are your thing you have come to the right place and if you would like them next to the lodge during your stay in the yard for a pat please let us know! We also have 4 farm cats who are very friendly and will most likely want to say hello. Seasonally you may see our Whiltshire Horn sheep and Angus Cattle near by as they rotate feeding paddocks.
Horse Riding
We now can accommodate your Horse when you book the lodge to stay in. You have the choice of 2 stables which are SureCushion Rubber lined, 6 medium size over night yards which are grouped together, or a large yard in view of the lodge. We have a lovely road side trail along Elliotts road or a short drive will get you to the popular rail trail. We also have a 70x30 fenced sand jump arena you can ride on or hire out privately to train on.
